Give Polio the Finger!
Posted by Sue Foster on Oct 24, 2016

Today October 24 is #WorldPolioDay so join me in giving polio the finger!
Why give it the finger you ask?
Well purple ink on the pinkie finger tells both the vaccination volunteers and the vaccinated child’s neighborhood that one more person is safe from the horror of polio.
It is more than a way to identify who has been immunized. It is a symbol of defiance against a crippling disease and a symbol of hope for a polio free world. No one is safe until all are safe.
So let's Give Polio the Finger and End Polio Now.
