District Conference in Batavia 
Lincoln's YE student has enthusiastically accepted our invitation to be our Area 5 " Bikeathon Jockey". Lili Nightingale, Grimsby's YE student, has promised to cheer Pia on. "
 
Treasurer's Report: 
Andy Fluit presented the budget figures for the coming year. 
Questions were raised about : $ to speakers ( change from previosus  board which said "no renumneration") ; funding Club's operation out of monies which were given for charitable purposes; deficit budget.  
The Budget was not voted on because of lack of quarum, and will be emailed to members for discussion at a future meeting. 
 
Foundation : District meals are still being decided. The committee is having trouble with distribution destinations. 
 
Public Relations: Sue Miszturik: the cart project is underway. 
 
Membership: Sue Foster: Wasn't able to present report due to lack of time. Summary of report presented to board.
  • Membership directory 2016/17 first edition has been distributed any changes please let membership committee member know
  • Police Record checks: please make effort to have completed this still outstanding from last year.
  • New member Mike Rodrigues Induction and Classification talk Oct 25
  • Board accepted resignations with regret of Irina Clairmont & Stephen Smalley exit interviews to be scheduled
  • New banking of make-ups for up to three months has been implemented and received well by club. Make up reporting has increased.
  • Membership Satisfaction Survey to be distributed, please complete and submit so Membership committee can assess and hopefully address some concerns.
  • Club flyer/pamphlet in process of updating and redesigning.
