On October 16th, MaryBeth Gustitus, founder of MILE 1 Performance Coaching spoke about identifying and communicating with personality types in the workplace. Her catchphrase was "People + Process - Problems = Profit," and she spoke on how to eliminate the problems from the workplace in order to have a higher functioning team.
We learned about High I (Influencers), High D (Domineering), High S (Steady) and High C (Compliant) personality types and their key emotions, motivations, mantras, and fears. She explained how fast/aggressive, people oriented, task oriented and stead/cautious individuals can work productively together through following the "Platinum Rule," which is to treat others how you think they would want to be treated, rather than how you would want to be treated.
