The PLUS Company

On July 31st, Mark Robbilard, Job Development Manager of The PLUS Company, addressed the Rotary Club of Nashua regarding The PLUS Company; PLUS (People Learning Useful Skills). The company is focused on helping people with development disabilities and brain injuries by providing a supportive, innovative and creative environment that assists them in developing useful skills, increases self-reliance and become vital, productive members of their community and lead quality lives. 

There are various training programs (up to 30 weeks in duration) based around “Project Search” theme to assist in this effort.  Education and Socialization Development, Life Skills Development, Career Development Training and Support (career assessment, employment training, placement services and on-the-job support).  Mark showed a “video resume” highlighting three of their Client’s – and their vocational (and life) successes.  PLUS Company employees are known for their dependability, dedication and long-term stability once they are given the chance to display their work potential. Ian Bowker gave extremely supportive testimony to two of his employees who came from the PLUS Company. PLUS Company has locations in Nashua, NH, Tewksbury, MA and Lawrence, MA.
