Most of what drives us crazy is not the incident or person, it’s how you react. If you can’t change or influence the event, don't’ stress on it. Three great stressors – circumstances (control or uncontrolled), events, and people. Any of these that can’t be controlled or affected, don’t stress on it.
Rule 1 – live in the present. Mind likes to fret/resent of the past or worry of future.
Rule 2 – perfection is a concept, not a reality. Stuff could always be better; you will never be satisfied.
Rule 3 – Inferiority feelings are not productive. Enjoy being yourself. Love – patience, kindness, understanding, forgiving and honest all.
Rule 4 – be content, take care of yourself. It will lead to inner peace and happiness. There are no adversities only lessons.
At age 91 he has a new philosophy in life, “ if its not fun, f*%k it”!
