On October 20th, John Boisvert, CEO of Pennichuck, and Jim Donchess, 56th mayor of Nashua NH, addressed the Rotary Club of Nashua regarding water utilities, and water utilities securities.
John discussed water utilities, and water utilities securities. (Unsupported and out of date software are the biggest threats.), Workforce and education are the big areas of concern for the water utility. John also confirmed that Pennichuck is not for sale to the Chinese.
Jim Donchess the Chinese story, Lilly Tang Williams (a perennial candidate) and Kevin Avard, started rumors that the Chinese were taking over the water supply. What did happen? The company had pre-approval for purchasing a site in NH from the US Government. Then a political storm started.
Questions followed, and speculation on why the Chinese company purchased a location in Nashua. For now, the Chinese company has not pursued further development.
