NH Fisher Cats Baseball

Rick Brenner, President of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, minor league baseball franchise addressed the Rotary Club of Nashua on Monday March 4th. Rick's 7 year career with NH Fisher Cats has been both rewarding for the team and himself. The Fisher Cats have been 6 year award winners from the NH Business Review's Best of Business and he has been named the Baseball Executive of the Year more than once. He has a lifelong love of baseball that turned into a solid, fulfilling career as the result of an unpaid internship he accepted over 20 years ago.
Rick explained that the NH Fisher Cats are an AA Affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays and are actually just two steps from the major leagues.
Rick attributes much of the NH Fisher Cats success in our state to the partnerships the team has built in the city of Manchester. He also cites the fact that his franchise cares about accommodating the fans and patrons with important details such as, "clean restrooms and warm hotdogs!"
The amount of people who attend and work at the concessions at the Fisher Cat games varies each game. Managing a "marketing and entertainment company with baseball as its' focus," is a constant challenge. Rick thoroughly enjoys the work he does with NH Fisher Cats and has helped to develop a strong philanthropic reputation in the community. The Fisher Cats and the Fisher Cats Foundation have raised over $2.5 million for regional non-profit groups over the past few years.
