Annual Community Grants Program
It is that time of year when The Rotary Club of Nashua will soon be deciding how to spend some of the money raised through its annual fundraisers. Each year the Rotary Club sells calendars and Christmas trees, and holds an auction and a comedy event. The funds raised are spent annually on local, community grants, scholarships and international projects.
The Rotary Club of Nashua is currently soliciting requests for the Club’s annual Community Services Grants for local human services organizations, unfunded school programs, or other 501(c)3 organizations in Nashua, New Hampshire. Grants to individuals will be considered only if they are administered by a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.
The request should be limited to grants of $2,500 to $5,000. The Rotary club of Nashua does not honor requests for annual operating funding of projects or programs. Over the last 10 years the Rotary Club of Nashua has given away over $250,000 in grants to aid the less fortunate in our community. The members of our Club are dedicated to "service above self" and "peace through service". So whether it is fundraising or a “hands on” project the Rotary Club of Nashua is committed to help shape a better community for all!
Grants will be announced in June. The deadline for applications is Friday, April 12, 2013. Please find the “Rotary Request for Funding Form 2013” in the "Download" box on the home page of this website. Please contact club president Jody Gage at jody@fortingage.com if you have any questions or concerns.
