On June 18th, Jebb Curelop and Shaunae Nolet announced our Grants Committee Recipients, expressing their joy to be aiding in their causes. Shaunae explained that we had $25,000 dollars worth of grants to give. These grants were awarded as follows:
 
Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua: $2,000 for the Substance Misuse Prevention Through Positive Action;
Front Door Agency: $5,000 for the Victory House Renovation;
Girls INC. $2,500 for Nashua Girls Center Field Trips & Meals;
Harbor Homes: $1,000 for the Safe Stations Initiative;
Nashua Children’s Home: $5,000 for the Transitional Living Program;
Nashua Police Athletic League: $2,000 for the Nashua PAL Youth Safe Haven;
Southern NH Medical Center: $5,000 for the Emergency Department Redesign for Behavioral Health Patients;
YMCA of Greater Nashua: $2,500 for the Summer Learning Loss Prevention Program at Dr. Crisp Elementary School
 
Each Recipient gave a small speech, and Shaunae closed this portion of the meeting, suggesting that we all take a moment to speak with the recipients at our table, to learn more about their programs.
President Carol Farmer extended her congratulations to all of this year's recipients and thanked the Community Grants committee for all of their due diligence in selecting outstanding recipients.
