Here are the March 26th meeting notes:
Vance Finch gave the opening words.
Dale Gabel gave the Hat Story. He related a few of his experiences about his duties on board a ship as a young officer in the Coast Guard.
Announcements:
- The RYLA event on March 23rd was a success. Thanks to Bill Gurney for all his efforts.
- Awareness Run discussion at April 16th assembly meeting.
- Roadside cleanup is scheduled for May 11th.
- The May 7th meeting will be an evening meeting at the Dublin Community Center.
- Bob Vecchiotti announced that has resigned from the club.
- Rotary District meeting will be May 3-5 in Danvers, MA.
The speaker was Max Mitchell, Exec Dir. Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce. He gave us an overview of some of the challenges that small towns in New Hampshire face, in terms of infrastructure, taxes, schools, and other related issues.
