Congratulations Kathleen!

Kathleen MacNamara was honored with a PHF, presented
by Peter TenBroeck at the June 3rd meeting of the
Milford Rotary Club.
Kathleen was surprised to say the least, and at a loss for
words as she was recognized for her many contributions
to the community, including raising money for cancer
research through the sale of daffodils every year.
Our Paul Harris Fellowship recipient is a wonderful woman, whose
heart is as big and beautiful as the hats she generally wears.
Kathleen MacNamara has been married to Bill for 37 years
and is a real estate broker. She is also a World War II buff, and
has a passion for taking in homeless and unloved dogs.
Early in the new century, one of Kathleen's closest friends died
from cancer at the age of 40, leaving two small boys. Since
then Kathleen has sold daffodils to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Every year she sells between $1200-$1500 of
daffodils.
On behalf of the Rotary Foundation Trustees, we are proud
to present Kathleen with the Paul Harris Fellowship.
