"This is one of our favorite events of the year! We all really enjoy the preparation, cooking and serving our senior citizens from all area towns. The opportunity to visit with each other and with our club members makes this a special day for everyone. And it is all with our compliments because of the support and donations of Frederick's Pastries, House by the Side of the Road, entertainment from Milford High School, servers from Souhegan High School and our Interact members." reports Paul Wydra, chairman of the event. "We are ready for a big turnout and hope our regular guests will bring their friends and neighbors to join us this year!"
The luncheon is held from noon to 1:30 and is completely free of charge to those attending. The Milford Rotary is grateful for the support from the students and assistance from local businesses including County Stores and The Happy Butcher, as well as year after year the generosity of the Boys and Girls Club for donating the gym for the event.
The Milford Rotary Club is marking its' 69th year of service to the communities of Amherst, Milford, Mont Vernon and Wilton in supporting youth activities, scholarships and the nonprofit charitable organizations that provide for the needs for our neighbors.
