Milford Rotary sponsored and continues to nurture the Interact Club established at our local high schools. Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 12 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting. Club members work closely with the students and facility advisors from each high school.

Youth Exchange Programs
Long Term Student Exchange Program - These student exchanges usually last one year, during which participants attend school and live with families in the host country. To gain a greater understanding of the culture, students live with at least two, preferably three, host families during the yearlong stay. To ensure safety for all participants, the host Rotary club conscientiously screens and selects all host families. In 2011-2012, the Milford Rotary Club hosted a young lady from Slovakia and sent a student to the Philippines. For more information, click HERE to view the brochure.
Short Term Student Exchange Program - A family to family vacation~homestay cultural exchange for high school students.
