Thank you to all who have been dropping off food, paper products, and monetary donations for the food pantry, We are most grateful as are the families who are picking up food.
Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who are not only giving their time during this crisis, but also adjusting quickly to new ways of doing things.
By the end of the day, we estimate we will have distributed food for 2,500 meals this week alone. We need the community's help to keep feeding people who need us, especially while churches and other groups are not meeting.
If you are out shopping and would like to pick up items for us, here is a list of things we can really use (but anything is much appreciated):
Baked beans
Mayo, ketchup, mustard, cooking oil
Snacks/crackers/cookies/etc
Cold cereal and instant oatmeal (microwave packets)
Beef Stew
Jelly
Canned pasta (like ravioli, etc)
Side dishes (like rice or pasta mixes)
toilet paper and paper towels
Baby wipes
If you see any disinfecting wipes, we would love them for the office as we are going through them quickly trying to keep everything clean!
Thank you!
