After receiving the transfer 45,000 USD from District 7870 Ukraine Relief Initiative USA we contacted the management of the hospital and established a hierarchy of the most urgent needs and preferences in terms of equipment for surgery, diagnosis and treatment. After that, we bought the following modern devices by selecting offers:
• Mobile X-ray with Fujifim digitalisation – FCGo
• Mobile intraoperative X-ray type G Arm by SWEMAC - Biplanar500e
• Operating table by ALM – Universis,
• Ceiling lamps by FORMED - Dr. Lite for the above-mentioned table,
• Anesthetic machine with a Drager Primus vaporizer by DRAGER PRIMUS,
• Defibrillator by MEDTRONIC- Lifepack 20.
• A full set of surgical instruments for all types of operations
They in Ukraine are extremely pleased with it, because it is the equipment of their dreams. This is not only emergency aid during the war, but also a long-term action, because the hospital, equipped in such a way, will serve the society late after the war.
Today these are currently packed, transported to our (RC Lublin-Centrum) reloading hub for donations and shipped to the Ukrainian hospital on Monday by a special truck. We document each of these operations with photos. All these devices are labeled :”Rotary International, D-7870, New Hampshire, USA” and RC Lublin Centrum” On Monday we intend to start with our RC reactivated Facebook page where we will show all the actions. Besides we have talked today to our D-2231 Governor Wojtek Wrzecionkowski (we are currently together in Krakow at a working meeting with French Rotary Clubs D-1660) reporting him all the matter. He promised to describe this program on the D-2231 Facebook page.
