Members of the Milford Rotary Club have organized a special “Tickets for George” initiative to honor George Infanti and his commitment to Milford Rotary’s Centennial Park.  The goal is to sell an additional 1000 raffle tickets for the club’s 100 Holes of Golf in One Day raffle. While all of the net proceeds from this raffle benefit the Milford Rotary Club Foundation, one half of the proceeds from this special initiative will go directly into a fund established in George’s name for the long-term maintenance of his beloved Centennial Park.

Each $20 raffle ticket provides an opportunity to win up to $5000 for the first place drawing with a total of $13,000 in cash prizes for the lucky 10 winners. The raffle tickets also include valuable coupons, such as, $20 off at the Copper Door restaurant!

To help kick start this time limited initiative, an anonymous donor has stepped forward and agreed to match up to $10,000 in raffle ticket sales earmarked for George’s fund through this special initiative. So, if all 1000 tickets are sold, $10,000 will automatically go towards the George D. Infanti Memorial Fund and the donor will match that amount bringing the total raised in honor of George to $20,000!

“Tickets for George” will be available from now until Thursday July 25th at these local merchants – County Stores, Milford Paint and Paper, The Yankee Chef, Stephen Marx Salon, Ciardelli Fuel Company, and Papa Joe's Humble Kitchen. Look for a “Tickets for George” booth on the Amherst Green during the July 4th Celebration.
