Schedule of Events
The Moving Wall will be set up in the sports field in front of the Souhegan High School at 412 Boston Post Road, Amherst NH.
Thursday, July 19
7:30 a.m.: Procession featuring the NH Patriot Guard Riders escorting The Moving Wall from Milford High School to Souhegan High School. The route - West St, to Elm St, through The Oval, to Amherst St, then on to Main St in Amherst and Boston Post Road to Souhegan High School. All are welcome to fly their flags and greet The Moving Wall and the escort team along the route.
8 a.m.: Wall arrives at Souhegan High School
8 a.m. to Noon: Wall to be assembled by veterans and volunteers
Noon: Open visitation begins
1 p.m.: Welcoming ceremony
7:30 p.m.: Taps and night watch begins
Friday, July 20
Opening ceremony
5:30 p.m.: Amherst / Milford Chorus High School present patriotic songs
6 p.m.: Opening ceremony
7:30 p.m.: Taps and night watch begins
Saturday, July 21
2 p.m.: POW/MIA wreath laying, Gold Star and Blue Star Mothers
3 p.m.: A special presentation
3:20 p.m.: Echo Taps by Jennifer and Keith Raiche
7:30 p.m.: Taps and night watch begins
Sunday, July 22
3 p.m.: Closing ceremony - Veterans salute to all the fallen on The Wall and from all wars, and Final Walk
7:30 p.m.: Taps and night watch begins
Monday, July 23
7:30 a.m.: Wall dismantling by veterans and volunteers
