Area residents and visitors are invited to attend the Remembering 9/11 community gathering to be held on The Oval in Milford, NH Saturday September 11, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. This will be an opportunity to come together to honor everyone who lost their lives because of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, the first responders who rushed to the scene that day, the caregivers who assisted the injured and the families, and the Americans who fight for our freedom today.
The event program will include inspirational words from local dignitaries, community prayer, and first hand recollections of that tragic day twenty years ago. Attendees will be invited to join in song with the Milford High School Chorus including the deeply moving song Let There Be Peace On Earth. The event will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. and conclude by 8:46, with the ringing of the Paul Revere bell at the time when the first jet slammed into the Twin Towers.
