For the 56th consecutive year, the Milford Rotary will host their annual Pancake Breakfast to benefit the communities of the Souhegan Valley. As has become the new tradition, the breakfast will be held in the gymnasium at the Boys and Girls Club of Souhegan Valley, 56 Mont Vernon St, Milford, NH from 8 am to 11am on Sunday September 8th.
The Milford Rotary Club serves the communities of Amherst, Milford, Mont Vernon, Lyndeborough and Wilton, donating thousands of dollars annually in the form of grants to various local, regional and international charities, as well as local student scholarships. This past spring, Milford Rotary awarded $52,000 in scholarships to twenty local students.
What started as a modest fundraiser back in September 1966, under a tent in the parking lot of the old “Super Save” market in Milford (currently the Rite Aid parking lot on Mont Vernon Street), has grown into a much anticipated community breakfast. The Club is indebted to the many local businesses and families who generously sponsor this annual community event. Hitchiner Manufacturing has been our Diamond Sponsor for decades. Platinum Pancake sponsors have included The County Stores, Contemporary Automotive, Jay Steel LLC, Edward Jones Investments, Turnstone Corporation, and Kincaid Auto Repair & Sales. You’ll see signs around the gymnasium recognizing our premier sponsors and every sponsor will be listed on our placements.
Come join us for an all-you-can-eat breakfast of pancakes, sausage and bacon on September 8th! Please see any Milford Rotarian for tickets or show up at the door where your voluntary donation will be gratefully accepted. Remember kids eat free and all proceeds support Milford Rotary’s charitable giving and scholarship programs!
