We share this news with great sadness and a heavy heart. The Milford Rotary Club has lost a very special member of our Rotary family. Past President and Paul Harris Fellow Mel Reever passed away on September 13th. He leaves us with a vibrant tapestry of a life well lived - member of the Greatest Generation and U.S. Air Force veteran, avid skier and golfer, devoted family man, successful business owner, dedicated Rotarian and, among many other accomplishments, a generous friend. Mel's gentle smile, sunny disposition and unique sense of humor will be deeply missed. It's hard to imagine Rotary meetings without him. Let us keep Mel's family in all our thoughts and prayers.
Memorial visiting hours are on Thursday, September 20th from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 21st at 11:00 am in the Congregational Church of Amherst, 11 Church Street, Amherst, NH. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Milford Rotary Club Foundation.
