Many thanks to Maggie Gelbwaks, Past President Julie Whitcomb's daughter, for sharing this great photo on Facebook. Maggie came across a Rotary Wheel on top of Mtount Evans (a 14,000+ foot peak) in Clear Creek County, Colorado. Do you know what this monument represents? To lean more, click here. Mt. Evans Rotary Peace Memorial placed there by the Rotarians of District 113 (Now D5450) in 1941 in honor of the Rotary International convention that was hosted by Denver Rotary in June 1941.
