The Milford Rotary Club recently made a multi-year financial commitment to Bridges: Domestic & Sexual Violence Support totaling $30,000. As part of that commitment, we also are working with Bridges to increase public awareness and understanding about their organization and services. Unfortunately, statistics show that Bridges is a much needed community resource in our area.

Bridges is a nonprofit organization that provides free and confidential services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, teen dating violence, child sexual abuse, elder abuse, stalking, and harassment. They provide crisis intervention, emergency shelter, court advocacy, support groups, and education and outreach to both women and men.

Above is your invitation to the Bridges To Hope event on May 22nd at the Amato Center that will feature a 1 hour presentation about Bridges. There will be tasty treats, a cash bar, and great networking before the presentation. This is a fundraiser and there is a soft ask, but don't let that deter you from attending. We really want to get the word out as many folks in our Souhegan Valley communities are unaware of the valuable services and support provided by Bridges and many thought that the Milford office of Bridges closed last year. All donations received at the May 22nd Bridges to Hope event will stay in Milford to support the local office.

If you are able to attend and have not already been contacted by a Row Captain, please RSVP to Ryan Hansen at rhansen@hansenprint.com or (603)672-7599For more information about Bridges, please visit www.bridgesnh.org .
