At today's meeting, Kaity Stanton and Melissa Goerbig, from Big Brothers Big Sister of NH, joined us for what has become an annual event - The Bowling Victory Celebration. The Milford Rotary Club has supported the annual Bowling For Kids' Sake Fundraiser for many years, and, in fact, has won 10 out of the past 12 years by gathering donations and bowling! Kaity confirmed today that our team lead all of the others in both donations and bowling scores! Bowling Team co-captains, Doug Knott and Paula Telage, extended a HUGE thank you to our very generous Rotary Club members and to our team members who displayed their highly skilled bowling prowess. This annual event is always fun and a great fundraiser for BBBS of NH. This year the event raised $9839.53 and our club contributed 43% of the total. The competition this year came from four other extraordinary Rotary Clubs - Hollis-Brookline, Nashua West, Nashua, and the Souhegan Valley. As Paula noted, "This is just another example of how ROTARIANS TOTALLY ROCK!!"
