At a recent club meeting, Dave Trudo of New Boston, on the left, received his grand prize raffle winnings of $5000 from 100 Holes Chairman Alec Buchanan, Rotary President Julie Whitcomb and Past President David Sturm who sold the winning ticket to Mr. Trudo.  (click on the picture to enlarge it)

 
The 17th annual 100 Holes of Golf in One Day Tournament was held at the Amherst Country Club on Friday July 29th. Over forty enthusiastic golfers raced around the course to each complete 100 holes before sunset. Organized by the Milford Rotary Club, this event is the club’s premier fund raising activity. Since its inception, the tournament has raised well over $800,000 through the sale of raffle tickets and event sponsorships by area businesses. The Milford Rotary Club uses all of the tournament proceeds to support charitable organizations and worthy projects throughout the Souhegan Valley, and to fund numerous educational scholarships for local students.
