Day 24 of the Milford Rotary 2011 Christmas Tree Sale started with 8 lovely trees. The other 892 trees and all of the wreaths and roping having been purchased and the money banked for the club's future charitable and scholarship projects. By 10 AM, Steve D. and Bob M. had the racks already loaded onto the trailer. So your fellow Rotarians doubled as display models to show off our wares (see photo). How many Rotarians does it take…..

Michael Bolton of Amherst, a repeat customer, started the ball rolling on Sunday and he was soon followed by three more customers in search of the “best” Christmas tree. In the spirit of the season, the last four trees were donated to SHARE for distribution to families who would otherwise not be able to afford a Christmas Tree this year. Many thanks to our loyal customers who come each year and to our new customers whom we hope to see again in 2012.

Day 24 ended around noontime with zero trees and the Frederick’s Pastries parking lot all tidied up. The warm weather allowed us to complete the spring clean-up of the lot on Sunday.

Big thanks, too, to our sponsors Contemporary Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Frederick's Pastries, Marc Chareth/Edward Jones, H2O Waste Disposal, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Lake Sunapee Bank, Cold Springs RV, Ciardelli Fuel, Classic Signs & Steven Desmarais Construction. Thank you for your support of the Milford Rotary Club!

Milford Rotarians give yourselves a big holiday cheer! Great job by Captain Chris and Prez-elect Ryan, and all of the members who spent countless hours at the tree lot and in making this a successful Milford Rotary Club fundraiser.
