Greetings All and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families!

A few quick reminders as we head into the holidays and tree sales -

Holiday Party Sunday, December 1st 5:30 - 9:00 pm @ the SHARE Center (map and directions below)

Karen Keating and Prez John need to know if people are or are not attending the holiday party and what folks attending plan to bring (appetizer, side dish or dessert) by end of Wednesday Nov. 27th. Please let them know directly or respond via the Clubrunner Invitation Accept or Decline feature.

For those who care to do a bit more shopping, on Sunday we will be collecting unwrapped presents for children (newborns to teenagers) that will be donated to the local Holiday Toy Store.

Got any gently used or extra baseball equipment? Dr. Joe (Raczek) is helping his friend Bill collect baseball equipment for donation to kids in need in Nicaragua. As Joe wrote:

"Travelling to a developing country presents many opportunities to volunteer and assist with unmet needs. Nicaraguans, like those in many Latin countries, love baseball. However, many many many kids are too poor to be able to afford proper equipment. Bill will be returning to Nicaragua in January, and he has taken it upon himself to try to collect as much baseball equipment (mostly used gloves, but balls, bases, bats, scorebooks, and anything else) as possible and distribute it to groups in the area he’ll be volunteering.

If you have any of the above in your garage or basement, especially gloves, that  you can contribute you can drop the items off at my office (380 Nashua St. Milford) anytime. I’ll deliver whatever I collect  to Bill and he’ll see that it gets into some happy kid’s hands in Nicaragua."

Got any empty wine bottles? If so, Stan K wants to hear from you!

Our local vintner, Stan Kankowski, is on the hunt for 400 or so more wine bottles to fill with his delicious "homebrew". So if you could, save those empties and let Stan recycle them for you.
