Souhegan EarlyAct students writing to students in Peshawar, Pakistan - part of the "Peace and Understanding" writing project initiated in 2012 and expanded in 2013 to over 200 participants from Amherst, NH and Peshawar, Pakistan!
 
Under the leadership of Milford Rotarian Claudine Hessmer-Husainy, the Souhegan EarlyAct Club has been established for elementary and middle school students ages 9 to 13. This innovative program, the first of its kind in our district, has started in Amherst with the intention of involving other Souhegan Valley schools.

The mission of EarlyAct is to promote goodwill, understanding and peace through the active participation of its student members so that with committed citizenship and effective leadership they may improve the quality of life of their school, local and global communities.
