Paging all MRC Swamp Rats - CASA Snowfest 2020
Are you ready to 'fellowship' into the wee hours of the morning, enjoy a day out on the slopes at Loon Mountain OR sleep in, go to brunch, then meet up with the more athletically-inclined members of our Club at the après ski party?
Our Club has supported the CASA Snowfest for years, which raises funds and awareness to protect the rights of our state’s most vulnerable children.Once again Milford Rotary will fund two ski teams (up to 8 skiers) and Marc and Julie Chareth have very generously again offered to let us join them at their beautiful condo, aka Chateau Chareth North. This is such a wonderful thing and we are so grateful to them! The 'Strategy Session' is Thursday, February 6th and the skiing is Friday, February 7th.
So…..who’s in??
The 411:
Bring some cash. There is no limit on participates but if more than 8 want to ski we will divide the entry fees by the total number of skiers. Paula Telage, your cruise director, will also be shopping for snacks/mixers for the Strategy Session and we will share that cost. As the official Strategy Session Mixologist, thanks to Coach Joe, Paula will prepare her famous Cosmopolitan unless given other suggestions. If your libations preference is something else feel free to bring whatever you enjoy.
We generally meet in Lincoln in the evening on Thursday and have dinner at Gypsy. http://www.gypsycaferestaurant.com/ (Some folks carpool - ROAD-TRIP!)
Please let Paula know as soon as possible: 1) if you are joining us 2) if you are skiing & 3) what time you anticipate getting up there. (Paula will need to make reservations for dinner.) Please note: If you are unable to join us for the Strategy Session but want to meet up first thing on Friday to ski that is a great too. Just let her know.
