Recipients of the Merrimack Rotary “Excellence In Workplace” are recognized.

MERRIMACK- Eleven local individuals will be recognized by the Rotary Club of Merrimack for demonstrating “Excellence in the Workplace.”  The event will be a breakfast at the John O’Leary Adult Community Center on Thursday, April 18.  Doors open at 7:00 a.m. and the buffet breakfast, catered by the Stocked Fridge, will be served at 7:15 a.m.  Members of the public who wish to join in honoring recipients are welcome; tickets are $15.00 per person and must be reserved by Thursday, April 11.  Call Chris Christensen at 424-2542 to make reservations.

According to Chris Christensen, program chair, “One of Rotary’s five avenues of service is ‘Vocational Service.’  Our goal is to recognize the value of all occupations, and I’m very pleased to see such a wide variety of jobs represented.  Other vocation related activities include our scholarship programs and member participation in Enterprise City”.  “Of course, Rotary is well known for its guest speakers, and these presentations are often related to various occupations,” he added.
