The Rotary Club of Keene manages the Keene Downtown Banner Program.
Each light pole display recognizes our annual sponsors who support Rotary and the Keene community through their funding of our downtown Keene lamp post displays. The name and year of organization for these annual sponsors is prominently displayed on an individual lamp post. Their support allows us to display banners reflecting local scenery or artwork created by local artisans.
Rotary also collaborates with several local not-for-profits through the periodic display of unique banners promoting various community wide events they conduct within the region.
All lamp post banners appear prominently along upper Main St and and around Keene's Central Square, providing an attractive and welcoming ambiance to the downtown area.
