Sept 20, 2017 -- Lukas, inbound Rotary Youth Exchange student who arrived from the Czech Republic only five weeks ago, today delivered his introductory presentation to his host Club, Hollis Brookline Rotary. He shared stories and photos (in well-spoken English) that gave a snapshot view of of his life and his country. Over the next ten months Lukas will live with two host families and attend school in our community, hone his English skills, experience our multi-faceted culture and become a global citizen along with 16 other teens in our Rotary District 7870 youth exchange program.
If you know of a student between the ages of 14 to 17 who may be interested in a similar experience in a foreign country as a Rotary exchange student, please direct them to our email: Exchange@HBRotary.org. There's no better way to help build peace and understanding in our world, one person at a time.
