At the Brattleboro Rotary Club’s 37th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on June 7, 2012, a team from the Rotary Club of Franklin County (MA) posted the lowest score among visiting Rotarian teams and won $1,000 towards a Paul Harris Fellowship. This is the second year in a row that the Franklin County Club has won the award.

Paul Harris Fellow recognition was created in memory of the founder of Rotary International as a way to show appreciation for contributions to The Rotary Foundation’s charitable and educational programs.

Other clubs represented by teams in the annual golf tournament included Brattleboro Sunrise and Plymouth (NH).

Net proceeds from the tournament will benefit the new West River Park being built by the Town of Brattleboro on Route 30.
