Born in Coshocton OH, Major Dr. Colin DeVault is a third-generation Salvationist, a musician, writer, and biblical theologian. He studied business at New York University and Houghton College, and did graduate and post-graduate work at Evangelical Theological Seminary in Myerstown PA.
In May 1977, he married Brenda Royle of Reading PA, and the couple has one adult daughter who, along with her husband, are Salvation Army lieutenants serving in Keene NH. They have three grandchildren: Edyn, Noah, and Abraham.
Colin has served in eleven congregational appointments, several finance and property appointments, drug and alcohol rehabilitation work, and served on the staff of The Salvation Army’s Officer’s Training College in Mexico City. He was appointed to the Manchester NH Corps in June 2022.
