On December 13th Ken Puzey from the Burlington, Vt. Rotary Club told us about a clean water project in Kenya that they were putting together. The particular village in Kenya could not even drill wells due to the amount of water pollution in the area. He showed us a novel, low cost device that uses solar power to boil water and thereby purify it for use. They are looking for contributions from other Rotary clubs to make the project happen.
