The Rotary Club of Bedford got a lesson on etiquette on Wednesday Set. 10 from its guest speaker, business etiquette expert Linda Simmons. Linda had tips for remembering the appropriate place-setting side for silverware and water glasses setting, the proper use of table napkins vs handkerchiefs, and rules for civil cell-phone use. Unless you're awaiting word on the availability of a kidney, Ms. Simmons stated, cell phones should be turned off during meetings.
