On April 27th Emily Sabean introduced and supported her friend Kate Shooshan who talked about her Senior Project to raise money to support efforts to treat a little known disease known as Amyloidosis. She lost her dad to this familial type disease. See the story about Kates efforts in the following Story. Her goal was to raise $1,000 and she has actually raised $19,000 to date.
