Andrea Beliello will speak at the Bedford Rotary Club on 17 April, 2024. She will speak about Camp Exciting Adventures, a week-long summer camp for children who have a vision impairment. Her bio follows:
Andrea Bilello is an itinerant Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments and a Certified Assistive Technology Instructional Specialist (CATIS) at Strafford Learning Center. She has master’s degrees in Special Education from UMaine, Orono and Vision Studies from UMASS, Boston. Andrea has presented at several international and regional conferences about students with visual impairment, technology, and college entrance exams. With 20 years of experience in education, Andrea enjoys teaching students who are blind and visually impaired and providing instruction in assistive technology. Andrea is a cofounder of Camp EXSIGHTING Adventures, a weeklong residential camp for youth with visual impairment in New Hampshire. She is the past President and the present Treasurer of Camp EXSIGHTING Adventures.
