The purpose was to create an invested fund and use the earnings from that fund to help bring permanent change in direction to the lives of disadvantaged and marginalised youth who were deemed to be 'at risk'. The Rotary Club of Hyde Park donated the initial funds to establish the Trust and continues to promote its growth and activities.
