The Rotary Foundation

A contribution to the Rotary Foundation is one of the best charitable investments you can make:  The Foundation has earned a grade of A+ from the American Institute of Philanthropy, a top rating of four stars from Charity Navigator, and full accreditation from the Wise Giving Alliance of the Better Business Bureau.

The Rotary Foundation awards Global Scholarships worth about $28,000 for year’s study abroad. District 5970 sponsors a scholar nearly every year.

The Rotary Foundation sponsors Rotary Peace Fellows. These scholarships are awarded to future leaders promoting national and international cooperation, peace, and the successful resolution of conflict throughout their lives, in their careers, and through service activities. Fellows can earn either a master’s degree in international relations, public administration, sustainable development, peace studies, conflict resolution, or a related field, or a professional development certificate in peace and conflict resolution.

A Paul Harris Fellow demonstrates commitment to Rotary by contributing $1000 to the Rotary Foundation.  A Paul Harris Society Member commits to contributing $1000 per year to the Rotary Foundation each year s/he is able to afford it.  The Fellows and Society Members provide the fuel for Rotary to do good in the world.
