Marion Cares celebrated a successful summer through its SHINE Summer Connection program, which provided local children with opportunities for learning, friendship, physical activity, and faith-based growth in a safe and supportive environment. Thanks to the support of local churches, businesses, and community organizations, students enjoyed enriching activities, healthy meals, and memorable field trips. As the school year begins, SHINE is preparing for another year of after-school programming that offers educational support, mentoring, relationship-building, and positive experiences for neighborhood children. Marion Cares is seeking volunteers, mentors, financial supporters, and applicants for a SHINE Program Coordinator position. Support a SHINE Student
