We remember Past District Governor Don Melichar

After the loss of Past District Governor Don Melichar, PDG Bill Jacobson reminded the members of the West Rotary Club, that Don was their club president in 1991-92 and District Governor in 2002-03.  "During his year as president Don started our Interact Club, the first Interact in the District!  Throughout all his years in West Rotary, Don was a passionate advocate for the Rotary Foundation and Polio Plus.  Many recall receiving their first Paul Harris Fellow award from Don as a very special day!"  Don is the person responsible for bringing the idea of Shoes for Kids to Marion East-Cedar Rapids. 

Tuesday, Dr. Jacobson and Rotary West President Rochelle Naylor join us with a special memorial.
