A successful 2022 Marion-East CR Waffle Breakfast was held on May 21. It included of course delicious Dad's Waffles, a good crowd, a silent auction with great deals and above all great volunteers from the MECR Club, BSA Troop 360 Scouts, Veritas Church youth, Marion Independent School District and the community leaders, citizens and students who took part in the Waffle eating Contest that came down to a sudden death overtime won by Hypnotic Razz of the Cedar Rapids Roller Girls who employed a "waffle dunk" technique which will be copied by competitive wafflers world-wide.
