The Marion-East Cedar Rapids Rotary Club is hosting an All-You-Can-Eat Waffle Breakfast & Silent Auction during the Marion Arts Festival on Saturday, May 19th. Proceeds benefit the Shoes for Kids program which provides footwear to local kids in need as well as other projects locally and internationally. Breakfast is available 7:30-10:30am at Vernon Middle School. Tickets can be purchased for $7 in advance from a Rotary member or $8 at the door. Kids 5 and under eat free! This year the University of Iowa Community Credit Union is sponsoring the event meaning all proceeds go toward the work of the Club.
The same as last year, we are lining up some spectacular items for the silent auction that will happen during the breakfast.
