Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Marion-East Cedar Rapids Rotary Club, Tom Barnes led a fundraising campaign to provide the City of Marion a town clock which is located near the southeast corner of City Square Park. Recently, local resident and commercial photographer, Christopher Sherman captured an image of the town clock at sunset including the United States flag and the Marion and Veterans Banners acknowledging persons who have served in the Armed Forces. We thank Chis for providing us permission to use his photo and the reminder of one of the ways our Rotary Club serves the community.
