I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to my fellow Marion-East CR Rotarians for your generous support of RYLA and Young RYLA. Not only am I lucky to be a member of such a great CLUB, have made great friends and business associates, but over the years you have sent my three girls to a RYLA camp.
I picked up the YRYLA kids this afternoon and it really hit home how powerful and life-changing these camps are. We truly empowered these particular girls, made them better stronger people, and I believe changed their respective lives forever. Both girls had kind of a tough middle school year last year, and this was exactly what they needed. New friends and they truly know they are not alone in their struggles, and in this world that is so important.
So I really wanted to tell the Club how thankful and grateful we are, that we have the resources to afford the kids this once in a lifetime opportunity.
The RYLA kids will be presenting on August 7th, and funny thig, they were discussing their presentation even before they left to go. This is important to us and them.
