Sarah Hughes begins her term as President of the Rotary Club of Marion-East Cedar Rapids Rotary as of July 1, 2018. She and the Board are off and running developing goals and committees to accomplish those goals. She shared the goals at last Tuesday's meeting.
They are:
- Set up New Service Project to be completed by 2020 (need club input)
- New Member Committees
- Quarterly Service Projects
- 1st Project - Teaming up with Marion School Foundation for Back to School Event August
- This Year’s Fundraising Goal $30,000
A new Committee structure has been developed. As members of the Club, you will be asked which committee you would like to work on knowing that everyone can and should assist other committees in tasks as they come up and where your skills, interests and Club needs are evident. The new committees are:
- Membership
- Service / Fundraising
- PR / Administration
- Foundation
