A Rotary Raid of The Marion Chocolate Shop happened Tuesday, August 20. After lunch at Indian Creek Country Club as usual with our normal routines and announcements were completed and members finish eating, the "raid" started. Instead of a speaker, members left and went to The Marion Chocolate Shop at 1244 7th Ave. There members "raided" the business by purchasing chocolate and other sweets. This is a way for Marion-East Cedar Rapids Rotarians to support an Uptown Business on their way back to work or home.
It was a good time and delicious!
