Our meeting on November 24 will feature Rod Pritchard who is the Manager-Marketing and Communications at ITC Midwest. ITC is the electric transmission company that serves our area and much of the Midwest. They provide higher voltage interconnection between various utilities and substations. The August 10 derecho caused terrible damage to our electric infrastructure and ITC was in the middle of it. Rod will give us some background information of electric restoration after the storm.
Our meeting will be by Zoom only due to the uptick in Covid -19 cases and gathering restrictions as well as our normal meeting place, Indian Creek Country Club undergoing reconstruction and remodeling of their facilities until after the first of next year.
