Princess Victoria Fundraiser
On the cold, snowy night of January 20th our own Rotarians, Jacob Wittrock and Michelle Bell were guest bartenders at Ramsey's Metro Market. This event was help to help get us to our goal for the Princess Victoria project in Brazil. this project will serve over 650 children and young adults per year in the Sao Paulo, Brazil area in the following areas of need; physically disabled, disability sensorineural hearing loss, deafness, low vision, blindness, deaf-blindness, multiple disabilities, developmental delay, cleft lip and palate, congenital malformation, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, progressive disease, hemophilia, pervasive developmental disorders and at-risk infants.
We are very pleased to announce that we raised $400 that evening. We are within $600 of fully funding this project. This project, if approved, will receive $16,050 from the Rotary Foundation, $6,700 in District Designated funds from District 5970 and $5000 from District 4590.
Your donations to the Rotary foundation make these matching grants possible. To date, our club has given nearly $100,000. We hope you continue this generous support for both local and international projects in the future.
With Rotary, you make a difference!
