Michael Collins, son of Arthur A. Collins, along with several members of the Arthur A Collins Legacy Association visited Echo Hill Station on Monday, August 16. Michael was impressed by the monument despite the damage it received from the storm. He was given an 8.5 x 11 inch picture of the site during better times. He also had a chance to have fun with the whispering dishes. Michael is a biologist by profession however was very active at Collins Radio during the early space innovations making space communications science something we still rely on today.
